I would appreciate an explanation of how the various memory pools work in the 64-bit edition of Domino 8.5.X on MS Windows. I already know about the NSF buffer pool, but it seems like there are limited pools of memory for other purposes which can run out and adversely affect reliability and scalability. We have seen Domino essentially run out of memory even when the OS has many GB of physical memory free. I would expect a 64-bit application should be able to take advantage of as much memory as the server has available but that doesn't seem to be the case with Domino.
